Renault TRIBER AMT: The car that changed my life
I work in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. Since the city
is currently having a massive number of large-scale infrastructure projects
which will make it ready for the future, the traffic situation in Bangalore has
become very grim.
Since the time I shifted to Bangalore, I have been using a sedan
to commute daily to my office in Whitefield.
Over the last year, I realized that after driving my sedan, I
was forced to spend the next 30 minutes trying to relax the fatigued muscles of
my body. The constant changing of gears and pressing of the clutch started
leaving me completely exhausted.
Then one day, I casually tried my friend’s Renault TRIBER AMT. I was so impressed that in the next few days I visited the Renault showroom and booked a brand new Renault TRIBER AMT for myself. Then, I sold off my sedan. Since that day, my life has changed completely!
Let me tell you why I say so.
Firstly, now I don’t have to keep juggling between clutch and
gear anymore. This relieves me of all the stress and fatigue earlier associated
while driving my old sedan. The AMT drive is so smooth that I don’t even
realize when the car automatically shifts into a higher or lower gear. All I do
now is focus on the accelerator, brake, and steering while enjoying the music.
Second, the TRIBER AMT has the best-in-class ground clearance of
182 mm. This means no more scraping the bottom of my car, which was a constant
worry in my sedan over under-construction roads.
Third, the interiors of the car are ergonomically designed to
suit both my daily office commute and my family excursions. The storage space
in the centre console and the glove box is not only intelligently designed but
is also cooled to provide comfort. The LED instrument cluster is helpful and
provides me with all the vital drive statistics. Even the rear parking sensors
allow me to park the car in tight slots of my office parking.
However, the most important feature of the car is that the
Renault TRIBER AMT is a 7-seater without the drawbacks of being one. Its
sub-4-meter length not only makes the car easy to drive but agile enough in
bumper-to-bumper traffic situations. But the real surprise is its modular
seating arrangement. Within seconds the car can be turned from a 7-seater to 2,
3, 4, 5, or 6-seater. This gives me the flexibility to manage the seating
arrangement according to the number of passengers and the luggage that I need
to carry. Even in the 7-seater mode, the last row can easily accommodate
adults.
And, the best part is its price. With a starting price of just
Rs. 5.12 Lacs (ex. Showroom Delhi), the Renault TRIBER AMT ticks on all the
right boxes making it an ideal daily commute car as well as a family car. While
I drove my colleague’s car before actually buying one, anyone can book a test
drive online or visit a Renault showroom nearby.
